CRYSTAL COVE IS A VIBRANT yet romantic , cheerful and lively all-inclusive resort , sitting in lush gardens along a beachfront cliff on the renowned west coast of Barbados . The hotel stretches lengthwise along the coast , allowing as many rooms as possible to be reasonably close to the sea , yet set back in the gardens that burst with frangipani and bougainvillaea . Rooms have been renovated recently and the 88 rooms and suites - including a one-bedroom suite - are bright and breezy . The resort has two restaurants and three bars ; the main restaurant is Reflections , which enjoys a poolside location with ocean views . You can take breakfast , lunch and dinner here . Closer to the beach is Drifters Beach Bar , an informal open-air restaurant and beachside bar specialising in Bajan-style barbeques . A feature of the hotel is the Cave Bar , famous for its spectacular waterfall , where guests can swim through the waterfall to reach the bar ( or enter from the hotel ). Crystal Cove is a fabulous , all-inclusive resort , ideal for couples but also welcoming to families with children thanks to its kids ' club and one-bedroom suites that take up to two adults , two children and one infant . The Elegant Hotels water taxi operates to take guests to their other hotels on the west coast , with whom there is also a dine-around programme . Crystal Cove is a good value , all inclusive hotel .
