The walls of this structure are adorned with huge pieces of modern art in a shady drawing room , library and outside dining terrace . Three restaurants serve an enticing combination of Nevisian and European cuisine , using local produce , lobster and fish . A choice of guestrooms are dotted along the hillside . The elegant Plantation Rooms offer a little more luxury than the Premier Rooms and have recently been updated . At the hotel there is a good-sized swimming pool , sun terrace and a bar at which lunches are served . Montpelier Plantation possesses its own section of the beautiful Pinney ’ s Beach , which can be reached by complimentary shuttle . Here there are six private cabanas , a new bar lounge and complimentary snorkels , kayaks and mountain bikes .
