Cote d ’ Azur

Corsica

Corsica is a rugged , mountainous island surrounded by long sandy beaches and turquoise waters . Wherever you are on the coast , you see the hazy blue-green hills give way to craggy mountains in the interior . Corsica is a beautiful island with outstanding holiday possibilities , allowing you to combine a beach holiday with interesting sightseeing . There are numerous water sports around the coast , a golf course in the extreme south , boats for hire and fishing trips . Inland , there are abundant wild flowers along the road sides and up the tortuous tracks in the mountains , lush pastures , rocky crags , stone cottages and goats . The architecture , as with much else on the island , is an enchanting mixture of southern French and Italian , with fortress towns , ports , citadels , and prehistoric sites to explore . The island really is full of dramatic scenery .

“ A beautiful island , a real holiday paradise ”
