Hotel Quisisana Capri

The Quisisana is one of our most cherished hotels in Italy , and one which clients of ours have enjoyed visiting and re�visiting over the years . For us the charm of the Quisisana lies in its combination of high standards and relaxing atmosphere , spacious rooms and gardens and excellent restaurant . You reach the hotel on foot in about five minutes from the main square of Capri town , the Piazza Umberto I , and arriving at it from a typical Capri street the Quisisana greets you with a powerful presence , its cream�coloured walls gleaming in the sunlight . As you pass the few tables and chairs where passers by or hotel guests can stop for a refreshing drink , you enter the light , spacious reception area from where you can glimpse views of the gardens and the sea beyond . The 148 air�conditioned bedrooms are on several floors and many have a view of the sea . The rooms are decorated stylishly in a manner that is suitable for the climate , with excellent tiled bathrooms and several with balconies . An outstanding highlight of the hotel is the restaurant , Rendez-Vous , which offers fine dining in the evenings . At lunchtime you can also sample the cuisine of the Colombaia restaurant by the pool .

The Hotel Luna enjoys a striking position in Capri town , just a couple of minutes ’ walk from the centre , situated between the famous Chartreuse of San Giacomo and the Gardens of Augustus . Nestling into the rocky hillside of Capri amid beautiful gardens of olives , palms , roses and enjoying tremendous views of the sea and the Faraglioni rocks , the Luna offers comfortable 4-star accommodation in 54 rooms , many of which have a side or full sea view . The rooms with full sea view are well worth having as the views are very dramatic and give a feeling of being very close to the sea when in reality it is several hundred metres below you ( in fact we recommend strongly that you book a room with side sea view or a room with front sea view to really make the most of the splendid situation of the hotel on the island ). As you enter the hotel an understated yet traditional and comfortable feel greets you ; there is a lounge area , a bar and outside terrace , restaurant and in the gardens a good�sized swimming pool and sun terrace , where a wide range of light and tasty lunches are served . Expressions clients have complimentary use of a sun bed by the pool . The sun terrace , pool area and garden terraces are perfect daytime spots for rest and relaxation and then in the evening you can dine in the hotel ’ s restaurant or easily wander into the centre of the town , which is quieter in the evenings once the day visitors have left the island .
