In addition to the featured hotels in this brochure , there are plenty of additional hotels that we use for overnight stops in various locations . These tend to be hotels that you stop at for one or two nights and they are usually part of a group of hotels such as Thon Hotels , Clarion Hotels and Scandic Hotels . Whilst they may be part of a group , you can be assured of an excellent buffet breakfast in Norway . There may be other hotels that we have booked from time to time as the request of our clients and we can also offer you these . Some of these are used in our suggested itineraries .

GRAND HOTEL TERMINUS

BERGEN This is a traditional 3-star hotel , and sister hotel to the Bergen Børs . The hotel is located close to the town ’ s railway station and is still within easy reach of the main sites of Bergen . The hotel was opened in 1928 and has recently been completely refurbished but retaining characteristics of the historic original hotel . The Terminus Whiskybar has been renamed Bar Amundsen , as it was here that Amundsen held his last press conference , is renowned for its award-winning whisky collection . There are 131 bedrooms .

THON HOTEL BRISTOL

BERGEN This hotel is located in the centre of Bergen , just steps away from the main square , Torgallmenningen , the bustling waterfront and the fish market . The 123 rooms are modern and cheerful , there is a lobby bar and the buffet breakfast is served on the seventh floor . There is a public car park just 150 metres from the hotel and this offers reduced rates for hotel guests .

GRAND HOTEL BELLEVUE

ANDALSNES This is a traditional , 4-star hotel dating from 1890 at a time when the area was predominantly a farming region . The impressive Romsdalstindene forms a majestic backdrop . There are 88 rooms , a restaurant and a lobby bar . Electric bikes and an electric car can be hired from the hotel . Free Wi-Fi . There is also outdoor seating and a gym .

HARSTAD The Thon Hotel Harstad is a modern , design hotel , 4-star , with 142 rooms featuring colourful and comfortable furnishings . Its unique location on the quay provides excellent views of Vågsfjord and provides easy access to the cultural arts centre of Harstad as well as to ferries to the many neighbouring islands .

BODØ The Thon Hotel Nordlys is a modern , design 4-star hotel with comfortable rooms furnished to reflect the local attractions and offering wonderful views of the waterfront and mountains .
