DAY EIGHT
Depending on the time of your flight it ’ s worth trying to incorporate a final interesting excursion just half an hour ’ s drive from Cuenca to the Ciudad Encantada , a beauty spot within a canyon , where limestone has been eroded by ice , wind and water to create spectacular rock formations . From here allow about three hours north west to Madrid Airport , where you return your hirecar and catch your flight back to the UK .
