The three-star Casa Morisca is found in a traditional Spanish townhouse beneath the watchful gaze of the Alhambra in Granada ’ s lower Albayzin quarter . Behind the unassuming 17th Century façade , interiors date back a further 200 years and speak of the region ’ s history of cultural diversity . This is reflected in hotel ’ s name , which derives from that given to the Muslims who remained in the city following the Spanish Reconquista .
