A country house hotel by the sea is a fitting description for this extremely comfortable , well-run hotel , which exudes a home-from-home feel . Furthermore , the Ti Al Lannec enjoys a remarkable position on the cliff top , overlooking the Pointe de Bihit and the bay at Trébeurden , on the exceptionally striking rugged coast of northern Brittany . It is a superior four-star hotel , owned and run by M and Mme Jouanny and belongs to the Relais du Silence association . The property has grown over the years and as you approach by road it has the appearance of a part stone , part timbered Breton mansion , whereas from the coast you can see the panoramic modern windows and balconies where the hotel has been extended . The Ti Al Lannec is extremely comfortable and welcoming , with cosy lounges , bar and a restaurant that enjoys superb views over the coast and south-facing garden and terrace . With only 33 rooms , there is a homely atmosphere . The comfortable bedrooms are furnished individually with care and thought , enhanced by the wonderful prints and paintings that adorn the walls . Although they vary in size , most are spacious and some face the coast with sea views and balconies . The hotel welcomes families and couples alike ; special menus are available and some bedrooms have an adjoining room for children , with either one or two extra beds . A lift serves all floors , so the hotel is suitable for disabled guests too . Ti Al Lannec is very popular with regular guests in the summer , so early booking is to be advised .
