The Hotel Cala del Porto is a charming , luxury boutique hotel and member of Relais & Chateaux and one we have been sending clients to over the years . The building is modern but elegant and enjoys an elevated position overlooking the sea and the harbour with its multitude of boats and luxury cruisers . From the terraces you can see the islands of Elba , Montecristo and Cerboli . Terracotta floors and modern as well as antique furniture combine to create a cool , chic interior . Bedrooms are both with and without sea view . To be sure of a sea view and a balcony or terrace we recommend the deluxe rooms . About 150 metres from the hotel is the sandy beach of Punta Ala , where the hotel has a private concession with the Residence Alleluja . You can enjoy pagoda-shaped cabins , beach umbrellas , loungers , and deck chairs , at a small charge . A bar and restaurant are available on the beach , which is accessible on foot or by private shuttle . Back at the hotel there is the refined Belvedere restaurant and a poolside bar .
